1. Use “Create Windows PE Auto-Create” or “Create AOMEI Windows PE ISO Manual Boot” to create an ISO PE ISO file that includes the AOMEI Image Deploy program. Select “Create Windows PE Auto Mode“, and then click Next, the program will automatically create the Windows PE ISO file in the installation directory of this program.
Select “Create Windows PE Auto Mode” and then click “Make WinPE“, you will be taken to the interface where you can manually create Windows PE ISO. You can click “Add Drivers” to add device drivers to Windows PE ISO if needed.
Then complete the creation of Windows PE ISO step by step. When done, go back to the main interface and click “Search” to select the ISO file created.
2. Select “Enable DHCP” if needed.
To install correctly, there should be only one DHCP server in the network because many DHCP servers will cause a bad IP address allocation for the client. “DHCP Enabled” is the built-in DHCP server configuration feature. Once you see the message “Service started, waiting for connection”, then you can run on clients.
Clients must wait for startup until the “Service started, waiting for connection …” prompt. Otherwise, they cannot start successfully. To boot the clients you have to set Network Boot as the first boot device through Bios or let the clients boot directly from the network. If your BIOS is UEFI mode, you will need to set “UEFI and Legacy” or “Legacy Only” to start the client computers.
(If the BIOS does not support UEFI, you can ignore the previous operating step). Then wait for all the clients to start successfully, and then check the “I confirm all clients that need to be available on the network” option and click the “Next” button to access the reset settings page.
3. In the “Select a backup file” option you can only select the image file or disk image file created by AOMEI Backupper with the “.adi” file name in the Shared Network or NAS folder. Click “Search” to open the page to select an image and click “Add device or NAS” to add the network share directory or NAS share directory and select the image file or the disk image file with the file name “there.
4. “Select Clients”: select the clients from the list. “Destination Disk Number”: specify which disk the client should deploy the image (disk number starts from 0-256). “Extended Computers”: specify the number of client computers to be restored or deployed at the same time, at least 1 and at least 3.

5. Select “Setup” to configure the reset settings “Set computer name”: set the client name after reset/deployment. “IP Setup”: Configure the IP address and DNS server of the client after reset/deployment.
The client’s name and IP address can be quickly defined as your decision. “Universal Restore”: specify whether you need to use “Universal Restore” to continue the reset or not.

If client hardware, such as CPU, motherboard, is not the same as the source computer in the system image file, select “Universal Restore” Note: When setting the computer name and IP address, try to avoid setting the computer name and IP address you have already used with the LAN. “Set IP” and “Universal Restore” is only available in the technical version of AOMEI Image Deploy.
6. Click the “Start Development” button to enter the page to continue the rollback/deployment.
