Mate 40 Pro: Huawei’s next top phone could look so crazy.
Huawei could introduce a whole series of interesting innovations to the “Mate 40 Pro“.
A second display on the back of the cell phone is just the beginning.
A first video shows what else the manufacturer could think about. Maybe there will even be a world premiere.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro: video shows a possible design
The “Mate 40 Pro” is not yet in the starting blocks, but slowly we are getting rumours and hints about what the upcoming top smartphone could look like.
It is not yet clear in detail which functions should be used to convince customers in the third quarter of 2020, but a first concept video shows where the journey could go.
One of the highlights would be a second rear display that not only serves as a simple notification bar.
A possible side effect of the second display would be that Huawei could possibly save the front camera.
Selfies would then be taken with one of the five cameras on the back, and the photographer will see himself through the viewfinder, which can be found right next to the rear lenses.
Samsung has followed the same concept with its foldable “Galaxy Z Flip”. Even with the not so well-known “Meizu Pro 7”, there was the same idea.
According to the designer of the concept for the “Mate 40 Pro”, the cell phone will have five cameras and will work again with the traditional manufacturer.
Four lenses and flash are in a rectangular camera projection, while the fifth lens is placed outside. This could be a telephoto lens with a strong zoom.
In detail: This is what the Huawei Mate 40 Pro could look like.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro with a sub-display camera.
Should Huawei opt for a front camera despite the second screen and the associated selfie options, there could be a world premiere.
There has been speculation for a long time about a sub-display camera that remains invisible in normal operation and only becomes visible when the camera app is opened.
The advantages of such a “sub-image camera” are obvious, as there is no camera hole or notch.
The display becomes even more extensive. Other manufacturers such as “Xiaomi” and “Oppo” are also working on such a technology.
