What Smartphone Has Best Camera In 2020?
1st: Oppo Find X2 Pro – approx. 1200 euros
The manufacturer Oppo has long been a big number in Asia, in Europe it is (still) overshadowed by the popular brands Samsung and Apple. At the end of last year, Oppo already impressed with the Oppo Reno 2. The Chinese had still withheld the Find X2 pro from Europe. But with the newly launched Oppo Find X2 Pro (available from May), the manufacturer now has the best ace up its sleeve. So much can be said in advance: The camera delivers brilliant results.

The Chinese rely on the main camera with three Sony lenses. In addition to the wide-angle main cam with 48 megapixels, these are an ultra-wide-angle camera with 48 megapixels and an f / 2.2 aperture, as well as a periscope, telecamera with 13 megapixels and an f / 3.0 aperture with 60x hybrid zoom. There is also a selfie camera that is equipped with 32 megapixels and an f / 2.4 aperture.
On the main cam, Oppo works with superpixels. Actually, photos are taken at 48 MP, but the Sony IMX689 sensor combines four pixels into one (1.6-micrometer pixel area) and can thus capture significantly more light.
Photos look high-contrast, extremely sharp and detailed, even with zoomed shots. Also on the plus side: The excellent autofocus performance, the large dynamic range, the few distortions and a low noise level, regardless of the conditions in which the pictures are taken. The almost only point of criticism: The HDR option is not always triggered when taking portraits in rooms – and ultra-wide-angle shots could be a little more detailed. The Find X2 Pro will also be available in many countries from May.
